How To Dive Into Mental Fitness with Lucy Romao Vandepol

Lucy and I met almost two years ago when I went to school to become a coach. Lucy was an instructor at the institution and I felt it would be valuable to have Lucy on the show to explain what Mental Fitness is and how you can start using some of these tools today to become Mentally Fit.

Lucy is a mental fitness and wellness coach, student affairs professional, educator and mom. She holds a Master of Arts in Education, a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science, a Certificate in Human Resources Management and is a Professional Certified Coach (PCC) through the International Coaching Federation with training in Positive Intelligence, StrengthsFinder and group coaching.

Lucy’s focus is on empowering others to reclaim their mental clarity, get out of their heads and re-connect with their true selves. Her background includes over 20 years of experience working with students and at-risk youth. Regardless of the setting, her objective has always been to help facilitate an individual’s development. She is passionate about student success and it’s that passion that has led her to expand her scope of practice to support educators and higher education professionals. Lucy is a wellness coach at a community college and the sole proprietor of Shifting Perspectives Coaching.

Lucy is a lifelong learner who enjoys spending time with her family and friends. During her spare time, she likes to work on developing new gluten-free low-fat recipes, working out and sharing her thoughts on her social media platforms.
